The Haumana news ...

Rangiroa and Haumana Cruises featured in the American series "Awesome Adventures" :

After a 2-month technical stop, the Haumana is back to cruising the beautiful atoll of Rangiroa. The kick off start was given on March 25 with the filming of the American production "Awesome Adventures".

Awesome Adventures (a Steve Rotfeld production) airs on approximately 125 U.S. broadcast stations representing 85 percent of the country's television households and 29 of the top 30 media markets. The series is about one host and two selected teenagers travelling to different places in countries all around the world. During their trip, they discover the highlights of each destination through activities and excursions. A nice blend of adventure, culture and people encounter. The production started back in 1998.

Their search of beauty, exotism, adventure, led them to the remote atoll of Rangiroa, in the Tuamotu archipelago, of French Polynesia, onboard the Polynesian owned catamaran "Haumana".

This "Awesome Adventures" in Rangiroa should be ready for airing in August or September this year.

A re-designed Reception area :

Black ostrich skin has been chosen to cover the Reception desk and walls that were originally plain beige.

Dive cruises in Fakavara will be scheduled towards the end of the year. The idea is to offer diving in this Unesco classified atoll along with a selection of activities and excursions allowing our guests to have a new "paumotu" experience.
